Vmware for sale!
According to virtualization.info, EMC is looking to offload Vmware to, of all companies, Intel!
... such acquisition may give VMware a unique competitive advantage, slipping the hypervisor directly onto the CPU ...
I can’t see why EMC would want to let go of a technology that integrates so well into their core business (storage).
Having said that, from memory, Vmware have been under achieving on the old profit returns recently.
